What is a full valet and what’s included?

A full valet can vary between different companies and the requirements of the customer but a complete car valet are usually very similar.

A full valet usually includes:

    • A thorough vacuum including the interior’s seats, carpets, boot, and side pockets
    • Cleaning and buffing of all surfaces and materials
    • Full interior shampoo cleaning of the seats, carpets, and mats
    • Window cleaning

Does the price of a full valet change based on location?

The price of a full car valet is definitely dependent on where you live and the competition of car valet companies in your area.

If you live in an area where the cost of living is quite high – you can expect to pay more than those who live in an area where the cost of living is lower.

Car detailing in london may be more expensive than car detailing in bradford.

However, this doesn’t mean you’ll be getting the same service, as areas with more performance cars and premium brands require higher quality services and you may end up getting a better service than those who aren’t in your area!

Does my vehicle make a difference to the cost of a full valet?

There are 3 variables here to consider when taking your car to a car valeters.

Firstly, the most obvious one is the size of your car. With larger family sized cars – this will take longer to clean inside and out and therefore you can expect to pay more for a full valet when compared to smaller/medium cars.

Secondly, the model and value of your car can incur extra costs because the car valeters may need to take extra care when cleaning your car.

High-end vehicles like Ferraris and Lamborghinis frequently require specialised cleaning supplies, which can add to the cost.

Lastly, vehicle condition plays a big part in the cost of a Valet as well as the model. Some heavily soiled vehicles may also require specialised care depending on the problem. This can incur extra charges as it takes longer to clean. New car cleaning tends to be a bit cheaper as it takes less time to clean.

Many older cars may have regions of thin paint or corrosion which means extra care must be taken when cleaning the exterior – therefore incurring extra costs!
